Q: Can the Delta® Cordero shower door system be installed on a fiberglass enclosure?

A: No. The Delta® Cordero shower door system is designed to be installed into tiled enclosures only. 

Q: Can I install the fixed glass panel on either side of my shower?

A: It depends. The fixed glass panel can be installed on either side of the shower opening depending on the showerhead/ valve location. The fixed panel should be installed opposite the showerhead / control valve. (The sliding glass panel will be installed on the same side as showerhead/control valve).

Q: Can I install this shower door if the walls don’t have studs?

A: No. For safety reasons, we don’t recommend installing the shower door without wall studs.  Please contact our Customer Experience Team if your installation area doesn’t have studs and you’ve already purchased the Cordero system.

 Consider the Delta® Ashmore sliding shower or bathtub door, which does not require studs for installation.
