Q: Can I use the Contemporary Pivot track with the Classic 500 shower base?

A: Yes, the Delta® Classic 500 Shower Base (model number B12135-363-WH) is compatible with the Contemporary Pivot Shower Door System.

However, the Bottom Seal (Water Diverter / Part M), which attaches to the bottom of the glass, may need to be trimmed to clear the full length of the base. We also recommend installing the Contemporary Pivot door behind the base.

Do not install the shower door track system on the lips. Instead, install the Bottom Track on the flat surface of the shower base inside the raised lip (see red arrows) and trim the Bottom  Seal (Water Diverter / Part M)  if it interferes with door movement.   

Q: How do I know which shower door size fits my opening?

A: To ensure you have the right shower door size, carefully measure the width of the shower door enclosure. This pivoting shower door has three separate shower door systems:

• The 30-inch (76 cm) shower door system: Will fit a 27-to-30-inch (69–76 cm) space
• The 33-inch (84 cm) shower door system: Will fit a 30-to-33-inch (76–84 cm) space
• The 36-inch (91 cm) shower door system: Will fit a 33-to-36-inch (84–91 cm) space
