Ashmore Shower Door Installation
COMMONLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
Q: Can the bottom track be installed on a steel bathtub?
A: Yes. The bottom track of the Ashmore tub shower door can be installed on a steel tub. The track is secured with clear silicone sealant.
Q: What material is the frame made of?
A: The frame is made of anodized aluminum for corrosion resistance.
Q: How can I stop the shower door handle (cylinders) from spinning?
A: There may have been a mistake in the installation. Please refer to the handle installation steps (Pages 32-33, Steps 40- 42) to make sure they are installed correctly.
In addition, don't forget to apply clear silicone sealant as instructed on Step 41 in the same section.

Q: Can I change which side the shower door handle is on?
A: It depends on the location of your shower head. The inside handle should always be closest to the shower head. This helps keep water inside the shower, helping prevent leaks. If you’re unsure about your set-up, re-check your installation guide or contact our Customer Experience Team.
Q: Is the Delta® Ashmore shower door soft-close?
A: No. Like all Delta® sliding shower doors, Ashmore features a center track guide for a smoother, quieter slide. However, it does not have a Soft-Close mechanism. If you’re looking for that feature, shop all Soft-Close shower doors here.
Q: Will Delta® Ashmore rollers work with Delta® Traditional shower door systems?
A: No. The Delta® Ashmore and Delta® Traditional shower door system rollers are not interchangeable. While these two doors have a similar design, there are two key differences in the roller bracket assemblies.
Delta® Traditional Shower Door Systems use 6mm glass and require Version 3 rollers.
